6 Ways to Always take a Great Picture.
Are you like me? Does the camera hate you, but every once in a while you get a picture that is truly fantastic? Here are six tips to get you to a PPP (picture perfect picture) every time.
1. Play with your hair
Due to hair color and the shadows that it gives off, hair often appears smaller creating a matted appearance. The seductive “hair play” pose, creates artificial fluff making hair seem fuller.
2. Get a go to Smile
Take a look at some smiles in photos that you look great in. Go to a mirror and practice that smile. Once you have it, take a deep breath and smile as you exhale practicing on keeping your face relaxed. That is your go to smile. Repeat it over and over when you are alone so it’s in your muscle memory. That’s your Go to Smile.
3. Keep camera lens Eye Level or Higher
Taking a picture from a lower point of view makes you look bloated. Make sure you look up, this helps you avoid having a double chin
4. Avoid the Deer in Headlight Look
To do this, think about something amusing or funny or better yet do something a little silly just before the picture is being taken and your eyes will go from deer in headlight to engaging and amazing.
5. The three Quarter stance
Angelina Jolie had it right. You often see celebs standing at a 3 quarter angle some time throwing out the leg often with a hand on the hip. This creates a long body line making you appear thinner. And who doesn’t want to appear thinner in their pics?
Follow those tips and not being photogenic is a thing of the past!
