Girl Smack Talk is the brain child of Cosmo, author of TV Smack Talk.

This is a fun site where young and old girls can come, share their experiences, get tips and ask questions. We have a staff of young women (and one guy) who represent various walks of life, and willing to share their lives and experiences for the up-liftment of women – and a paycheck.

Erica Smitts – Health & Fitness Editor

Erica is currently studying to be a physical therapist at Rutgers University. A graduate of Clifton High School in New Jersey, Erica was a chubby preteen who moved on to be a three letter athlete (Volleyball, Track, Basketball) in High School.  She will be graduating with her BS from Rutgers in the Spring of 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

Melisa Rodriguez – All Around Diva

Melisa grew up in Spanish Harlem a graduate of the “School of Hard Knocks”.  She has been a freelance writer for 6 years with publications credits in Cosmo, Elle and Heart and Soul.  Mellisa is a single Mom of two beautiful daughters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Joyce Bailey – Supermom

Before starting her family Joyce was one of the areas most successful event and party planners.  She got started in her mothers catering business and at age 17 launched her own company.  After planning one of the most lavish parties that New Jersey has ever seen for a young Wall St. tycoon, Joyce married him . Two beautiful children later she joins our staff as our Sr. Editor.
